Remedy Developer
Security Clearance: DOD Interim Secret as a minimum
Citizenship: US
Education: A bachelor's or postgraduate degree in computer science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or engineering from an accredited college or university; or, eight years of combined education (at the undergraduate level in any academic field) and experience performing the foregoing functions.
Experience: A total of at least 6 years of experience with Remedy systems. At least 3 years of the foregoing total experience shall have been as a team leader or supervisor.
Required Certifications: None
- Desire CompTIA Security+ Certified
- Desire ITIL Version 3 Certified
Position Requirements:
Remedy Developer - This position will work across a wide variety of systems, applications, and projects within the Hosted Solutions division. The primary requirement for this position is being the lead developer for the Remedy Application. It will require direct interaction with the proponent and Experience with handling large volumes of email and communication.
- Direct experience leading Remedy ITSM projects.
- Direct experience architecting, implementing, developing and integrating BMC Remedy ITSM 7x. as well as custom applications
- Understanding of the underlying database structure of the ARS.
- Experience in developing reports and creating ad-hoc queries in the User tool, Crystal Reports and Generic ODBC connections
- Experience with deploying and consuming Web Services
- Experience with the Remedy API (Java, Perl, C)
- A deep understanding of the Approval Engine.
- Experience creating external integrations.
- In-depth knowledge of mid-tier servers in a load balanced environment.
- Working knowledge of DSO and server pools.
- Knowledge of Plug-in server concepts and implementation.
- Experience in performing root cause analysis based on recorded workflow.
- Knowledge of PKI authentication.
- Prefer Security+ Certified
- Prefer ITIL Version 3 Certified.
- Hands-on experience deploying, configuring, and integrating the following ITSM modules:
- Incident Management
- Service Request Management
- Change Management
- Asset Management
- CMDB 7.6 (Atrium)
- Release Management
- Problem Management
- Service Level Management
- Task Management System
